Studying can feel like the most boring, painful, and tedious process ever sometimes, especially with harder subjects. But, you don’t need to do it alone, and you certainly can take away some of the annoyance that comes with it. So, we’ve compiled a list (not in ranked order) of our favorite free study websites to make your studying that much easier.
It might be a classic, but that doesn’t take anything away from it. Quizlet allows you to make flashcards and notes, and then play games to review the content. Their Learn and Test features helps ensure you can remember your information, while Match, Blocks, and Blast all turn your studying into a competition.
We think of Knowt as Quizlet’s cousin, because it also stems from flashcards. But, it can do so much more than that, too. Using AI, the website allows you to upload your notes and turns it into different tests, podcasts, videos, and more. Plus, they have a built in AP practice section, complete with notes and practice questions for every AP class.
Google Notebook takes any and all files that you upload or select from your Google Drive and turns them into interactive study tools. It takes your content and creates flow charts, podcasts, infographics, and more, so that you can consume the information in a variety of ways.
Khan Academy is your practice question heaven. The site takes different subjects and divides them up into individual lessons, with videos and practice modules on each. It also aligns to different standards from popular curriculums and features special practice sets for test prep.
If Quizlet or Knowt don’t float your flashcard boat, then Brainscape will. This website allows you to find or create flashcards based on your content, but makes sure that you remember the information in the long term. It focuses on keeping you motivated, while improving your accuracy and identifying weaker spots.
Shmoop offers a variety of study guides and test prep for a multitude of subjects and topics. The website includes homework help, practices quizzes, and even AP-aligned curriculum standards (though that is only available with the paid version).
Well, we would be lying if we said that we weren’t also a great study website. Our weekly blog posts and digital files are here to help you get studying, get motivated, and get organized. Plus, we are entirely free. So, if you liked this, be sure to check out our other helpful posts below or in the Blog page.
